Stampeders/Tomahawks game goes to six shootouts

Nearly 800 fans in the stands made for a hot hockey game on Friday between the Williams Lake Stampeders and the Lac La Hache Tomahawks.

The Stampeders’ Andrew Fisher leads the charge down the ice during a hotly contested game with the Quesnel Kangaroos in Williams Lake Saturday night. Andrew scored Williams Lake’s only goal in the third period, winning the game at seven to four for the Stampeders.

There was heat on the ice last Saturday when the Williams Lake Stampeders played the Quesnel Kangaroos.
