The  Qualicum Beach Downtown Business Association won first prize in the Qualicum Beach Family Day Parade this past Sunday. The float decorated by volunteers from the QBDBA and their families showcased a small part of the ambience of Qualicum Beach downtown. One side of the float promoted the Uptown Summer Market held every Thursday evening during July and August and the other promoted “Our Business is Blooming” coinciding with the Town of Qualicum’s participation in the “Communities in Bloom” competition.
