Ladysmith’s Faith Knelson wins nine medals at Courtenay swim meet

Knelson, a member of the Ladysmith-Chemainus Orcas Swim Club, wins six gold medals and three silvers at first meet after Christmas break.

CAN-nection campaign raises two weeks’ worth of food for Ladysmith

Five food banks in the region, including the Ladysmith Food Bank, are benefiting from the inaugural CAN-nection food drive.

Delays at Port Metro Vancouver have caused a number of cargo ships to drop anchor off of Saltair and Chemainus.

The Chemainus Gardens Festival of Trees recently presented a cheque for $3,872 to Harvest House.
