40 Knots Vineyard celebrates San Martino Wine Festival

Local vineyard honours military families with the patron saint of soldiers and winemakers

40 Knots Vineyard & Estate Winery, a local vineyard and winery, celebrates Italy’s San Martino Wine Festival from Nov. 1-10, in honour of our military families and the San Martino, the patron saint of soldiers and winemakers,

In honour of Remembrance Day, $2 from every bottle sold at the event will be donated to the Military Family Fund. 40 Knots is also opening their Tasting Room from 11:30 – 5:30 p.m., offering free samples of new wine releases and current favourites. Tours of the winery and cellar are available at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily. Although this is the first San Martino Festival thrown by 40 Knots, owners Brenda and Layne Craig, hope to make it an annual event for the community to look forward to every fall.

Military Families Fund is a fund that provides emergency financial assistance to military families faced with unforeseen, and often immediate, needs that have resulted due to conditions of service.
