Todd Dew, owner and pharmacy manager of Hogarth’s Clinical Pharmacy in Coldstream and Vernon, is the recipient of the 2012 Achievement Award presented by the B.C. Pharmacy Association.
The award recognizes an association member who has attained a high profile in the profession, and the community, through activities such as public speaking, health fairs, career nights and public awareness programs.
Dew is involved in a number of community health seminars, from cardiovascular presentations to smoking cessation. He was also a mentor during the B.C. medication management project, helping pharmacists to integrate clinical services into their practices, and working with health care providers to promote the project.
The awards were presented at the organization’s annual conference in Victoria.
