After 32 years, Jim’s Pizza Fort Langley has moved

Glover Road building boarded up, but same great pizza and staff moved to Walnut Grove

Jim’s Pizza was a staple in Fort Langley — the go-to pizzeria for 32 years.

But maybe you noticed the windows of the Glover Road restaurant had been boarded up and wonder what happened.

After three decades of making, baking and serving pizzas, Jim’s Pizza was forced to move. But fear not, pizza lovers.

The family-run eatery has found a new home in Walnut Grove and opened a couple weeks ago.

Owners Allan and Emma Weslowsky said they wanted to stay in Fort Langley but the landlord had other plans for the property, so they secured their new location and are excited about their future in Walnut Grove.

“Knowing the building was eventually coming down, we spent five years searching Fort Langley for a suitable space but unfortunately nothing was available,” said Emma.

“Unfortunately this meant that after 32 years, Jim’s Pizza Fort Langley had to leave.”

They loved being in Fort Langley and had many loyal customers, some of whom have been eating their pizzas for 20 years. The village residents became good friends.

Despite missing their regular walk-ins, the couple is making new friends at their new location at #10 20349 88 Ave.

Jim’s Pizza opened up in its new location three weeks ago with pizzas flying out the door even on the first night, they said.

“Same great staff, same great pizza, just new location,” the Weslowskys said. Even the phone number stayed the same.

They are located in the same shopping centre as the RBC on 88 Avenue.

Already loyal customers have been flocking to the new location to make sure the pizza tastes the same as it always has.

Positive reviews are being posted on Jim’s Pizza’s Facebook page.

“You guys have the best pizza, no other place even comes close,” wrote one customer.

Another customer wrote, “My pizza last night was every bit as awesome as ever.”

Customers in Fort Langley can still have their pizza delivered, said Emma.

“We really want to thank our customers and staff for their amazing support. It feels great to be back,” said Allan.
