All for autism

In recognition of World Autism Day, Slainte by the Pier – with support from the Canucks Autism Network (CAN) – plans to take a Bite out of Autism April 2.

From noon to 8 p.m., the White Rock restaurant will be offering live music and a burger-and-beer menu for $20, with all profits benefitting CAN.

The fundraiser will also include a silent auction, with items to include a signed Manny Malhotra Canuck jersey, stick and poster; Pebble Creek furniture; tattoo art from renowned artist Nick Matovich; gift baskets; an Eaglequest Golf package; a deep-tissue massage with Erika Tibbe; and a haircut and colouring from Jools.

Slainte by the Pier is located at 15057 Marine Dr.
