Vernon automobile dealer is driving ahead with a provincial honour.
Bannister Honda has been named employer of the year by the Better Business Bureau.
“To be recognized by the BBB as B.C.’s No. 1 employer is a true honour, and one that the dealership takes great pride in receiving,” said Pat Loehndorf, Bannister Honda general manager/partner.
“The culture in our store has developed into one of caring for your fellow employee and treating them like a family member.”
The BBB judges stated that out of all of the nominees, Bannister Honda, “had the most comprehensive plan that highlighted why and how their employees were the most valued asset in the business. They had great references and pictures that reflected the joy, passion, and commitment all team members have in building the business and supporting customers.”
This is the first time the BBB has named an employer of the year.
“It was a way to recognize businesses that put employee well-being at the same level as productivity and service,” said Danielle Primrose, BBB president.
