Food and drink as far as the eye can see.
That’s what will be in store for visitors to the Fraser Valley Cork & Keg event, coming next month to the Langley Events Centre.
The festival of food and drink will host 600 attendees from the Fraser Valley area and showcase 55 wine and beer purveyors sampling more than 275 different products.
The brainchild of local beverage industry professionals, the festival will host international and local wines, craft and premium beer as well as local cheese makers and chocolatiers.
Unique to local wine and beer festivals, this event will consist of a trade/media event, which will be held on Friday, Sept. 30, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and a consumer event from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The trade portion of the event is for hospitality and food and beverage industry only and not open to the general public.
The consumer event follows at 7 p.m., with ticket registration available online to anyone 19 and older.
The Cork & Keg team will be working with local liquor distributors and partners to ensure that festival favourites will be available for sale to consumers after the event.
Whether you’re a wine or beer enthusiast, a novice who wants to learn more or a seasoned guru, you’re welcome to attend.
