SURREY — Day 25 of the Go Auto Group’s “Car a Day Giveaway” resulted in a big surprise for Surrey residents Patricia Webber and Anthony Millwater.
Patricia was stunned by the good news that was delivered by Santa himself on Friday.
The Surrey dealership asked her to come by to “complete some paper work” when they surprised her with the keys to a 2014 Dodge Journey.
Go Dodge Surrey is at 120th Street and 62nd Avenue.

Entrepreneurs recognized at third annual SEEDS Business Leadership Awards
Surrey-based SEEDS (Self Employment & Entrepreneur Development Society) recognized entrepreneurial excellence during its third annual SEEDS Business Leadership Awards, held Oct. 15 at Surrey City Hall.
This year, SEEDS helped to start 12 new businesses in Surrey while giving free-of-charge business lessons to more than 500 people.
A Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Dan Anderson (iSwirl.ca), and Entrepreneur of the Year honours went to Clive Paris (Gasket Guy Plus).
Other award winners were Kevin Cruz (ORA Scents), Lien Le (Neille’s Vietnamese Cuisine), Derrick Whiteskycloud (Metis puppeteer), Beverley Bly (Wiseteck Virtual Services), Verl Ferguson (Morning Star Health & Wellness), Brittany Smith (Four Winds Immigration Inc.) and Joanne Mills (First Health Solutions).
Businesses recognized at annual Business Excellence Awards
Six of Surrey’s best businesses were celebrated at the annual Surrey Business Excellence Awards at the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel Thursday (Nov. 5).
Andrew Westlund was named Business Person of the Year. South Point Pet Hospital won in the 1-10 Employees category, while Viva Care Inc. earned top marks in the 11-40 Employees category and Canuel Caterers scored the 41+ Employees category. The New Business of the Year was Crown Building Supplies, and the Not-for-Profit prize went to John Volken Academy Society.
