Sales in 2015 have seen a significant improvement in the Central Okanagan real estate market and the community spirit of local realtors continues stronger than ever as many give of their time, money and expertise.

This is the 10th year the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board’s (OMREB) Central Zone will recognize the exemplary efforts of its members with annual  Care Awards. This year’s presentation will be made at the Zone’s annual Christmas luncheon on December 2, 2015.

“To show our pride in the community contributions of the realtors of the Central Zone of the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board we, the Zone Executive, are pleased to launch the call for nominations for the 2015 Annual realtors Care Awards,” said Kelowna realtor Anita Clegg of OMREB’s Central Zone Executive.

OMREB members can nominate a deserving realtor or Real Estate Office for this award. Nominations will also be accepted from the general public.

The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, November 18, 2015. For nomination form and eligibility criteria, visit omreb.com  (Board News) for the Central Zone nomination package.

“Realtors are good public citizens who care about the communities that they live and work in and the world around them,” notes Clegg. “I am always amazed at all the ways my colleagues give back, the leadership they take and the good example they set for others.”

The Central Zone of OMREB covers an area from Peachland to Lake Country and east along Highway 33 to Westbridge (including the Christian Valley).   The Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board (OMREB) is comprised of 1,096 member realtors and 91 real estate offices in the Southern Interior of BC.
