Canadian Tire has been included on the fifth annual Maclean’s/Sustainalytics list of the 50 Most Socially Responsible Companies in Canada.
Companies are selected on their performance across a range of environmental, social and governance indicators tracked by Sustainalytics, a global leader in independent sustainability research.
The top 50 companies were recently profiled in an issue of Maclean’s.
Earlier, Canadian Tire was named by Corporate Knights as one of the Best 50 Corporate Citizens in Canada. The company’s business sustainability strategy and performance were also recognized with the Globe Award for Best Green Retailing Practices. It was also added to the STOXX Global ESG Leaders Index family, and is the only Canadian retailer included.
