SURREY — The Christmas spirit has inspired the team at Barnes Wheaton Autogroup for another year of giving and driving food donations to the Surrey Food Bank.

The team at Barnes Wheaton Autogroup (Barnes Wheaton GM North Surrey, Barnes Wheaton GM South Surrey and Barnes Harley-Davidson in Langley) originally set a goal to fill one GMC half-ton pickup with food.

Happily, they doubled that goal and filled two half-ton trucks with food – an estimated 3,000 pounds of food.

The food was delivered in a cube van to the Surrey Food Bank, on Tuesday (Dec. 22).

“Everyone is proud to have been able to make this impact to the local community this Christmas season,” said Barnes Wheaton Autogroup marketing manager Kevin Chow.

The donations came from both staff and customers.
