A new full-service salon and spa, Orah Spa + Salon, has opened in Kelowna at 2790 Richter St. (corner of Richter and Raymer).
Owned and operated by Debi Nicoletti, formerly a partner at Mirror Mirror, Orah is a unique, professional space with an urban flare, designed with sustainability in mind. Orah uses high quality products which are respectful to the environment. Spa director Julie Zamorano is joined by her staff—Katy Holmes, Taylor Peterson, Rachel Nojonen, Marie Frick and Richell Nicoletti. Although there is construction on Pandosy Street at the corner of Leon and Pandosy, City Pizza is still open. Located at 1675 Pandosy St. and owned and operated by Katrina Mendl and Tarun Bhatti, their pizza is wonderful with pick-up and delivery service available. Dr. Guy Fradet, cardiac surgeon and IHA medical director, and Carol Laberge, program cardiac director of KGH Cardiac, have been awarded the Leadership in Quality Award by the BC Patient Safety and Quality Council. Interior Health’s Cardiac Surgery Program team has completed 1,000 open heart surgeries at KGH since the program’s inception in 2012. The program will move to the Interior Heart and Surgical Centre when it opens next year at KGH.

The Spirit of Christmas in the Village is Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., hosted by the Pandosy Village Business Association.
