Dundee switches to Hollis brand

The nationwide financial advisory firm is now knows as HollisWealth, and will operate as an integral part of Scotiabank’s Global Wealth Management business.

“Though the name will change, the character of my practice, and most importantly, my relationship with my clients will remain the same,” said Vernon’s Trevor Perepolkin, senior investment advisor.

“In keeping with a rapidly evolving marketplace and shifting client needs, I will continue to provide innovative products and resources that allow me to meet my clients’ needs.”

HollisWealth is derived from the location of Scotiabank’s first head office building which was constructed in 1837 at 188 Hollis Street in Halifax.

In addition to the new brand name, DWM Securities Inc. and Scotia Capital Inc., the two full-service IIROC (Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada) brokerage businesses owned by Scotiabank, will amalgamate and operate as a division of Scotia Capital Inc. under the HollisWealth brand.

Existing legal entities representing the MFDA mutual fund dealer business, and the insurance and mortgage services that currently operate under the DundeeWealth brand, will change their legal names to a new name that includes HollisWealth.
