WHITE ROCK — Operators of a new Nature’s Fare Markets store here are looking to hire 50 employees.
The store is due open in May at the former Shoppers Drug Mart location at 15180 North Bluff Rd., in 10,500 square feet of space.
The Vernon-based Nature’s Fare is billed as “an ethical grocery store full of the best, handpicked natural and organic foods, vitamins and supplements.” The family-owned chain includes stores in Kamloops, Kelowna, Langley, Vernon, Penticton and West Kelowna.
“Our ‘coming soon’ signage will be up at the end of the week,” Debbie Collins, the company’s director of marketing, told the Now on Tuesday.
To fill part-time and full-time positions at White Rock store, operators will host a job fair this Monday, March 21 at Ocean Promenade Hotel (15611 Marine Dr., White Rock) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Click here for more details.
Positions to be filled include department managers, purchasers, vitamin team members, cashiers, bistro manager and more.
