KELOWNA – Elmer Epp of Kamloops was re-elected as chair of the board of directors of Interior Savings Credit Union after its annual general meeting held April 29. Epp is an associate at the law firm of Epp Cates Oien in Kamloops. He now begins his 13th year as chair of the Interior Savings board.
At the AGM, held in Kelowna, Interior Savings members heard about the Credit Union’s 2013 financial results, recent accomplishments and plans for the upcoming year.
“Interior Savings faced many challenges in 2013,” Mr. Epp said. “Interest rates remained low and competitive pressure remained high. Despite these challenges, the Credit Union achieved positive results overall; finishing with close to $2.09 billion in assets and maintaining a strong capital position.”
