Extraordinary women take the podium in the newly launched Pinnacle Women’s Leadership Series.
On Sept. 29 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce and presenting sponsor Crowe MacKay will be hosting the first Pinnacle Women’s Leadership event.
The Pinnacle Women’s Leadership Series features distinguished leaders who will share their stories of achievement followed by facilitated discussions. Women in management or aspiring leaders interested in personal growth and inspirational business success are the focus of this Series.
The series kicks off by featuring guest speaker Christina Anthony, presenting her keynote: Everyone Needs a Champion. Christina’s accomplishments include: • Vice president, director & portfolio manager of Odlum Brown Limited
• Founder of the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs of BC
• One of Canada’s Most Powerful Top 100 Women in the Champions category by the Women’s Executive Network and the Globe and Mail
• Finalist for Business in Vancouver’s Influential Women in Business Awards.
The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Crowe MacKay recognized that the Okanagan community of women leaders was looking for dynamic opportunities which would encourage women and women’s mentorship activities.
“Our involvement in women’s leadership comes as no surprise; just look at our partner portfolio. We strongly believe in encouraging women in our community to prosper and are delighted to be able to bring such high quality speakers here to facilitate leadership development.” said Don Turri, CPA, FCA, managing director, Crowe MacKay LLP.
Tickets to this event are $20 and can be purchased at www.kelownachamber.org or info@kelownachamber.org. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Women’s Enterprise Centre’s mentorship program.
