SURREY — The hard work of Surrey business women and their contributions to the community will be recognized during an annual event on Tuesday, March 8.

The Surrey Women in Business Awards luncheon, held in celebration of International Women’s Day, will be held at the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel.

The event is hosted by Surrey Board of Trade in partnership with presenting sponsor Vancity Savings Credit Union.

The event’s keynote speaker is Christine Day (pictured), CEO of Luvo.

Day has been named in Fortune magazine’s ‘Top 5 International Most Powerful Women,’ ‘Canada’s Top 100 Women,’ and named CEO of the Year, by the Globe and Mail and Business in Vancouver.

Steve Darling of Global BC returns as emcee.

The award sponsor is Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network.
