Enderby’s Fink Machine will be hosting their sixth annual open house on Tuesday.
The company is owned and operated by Burkhard Fink, who will be showcasing Canada’s first privately owned wood biomass district heating system. Also on display will be a containerized heating plant with a Pyrotec 530 (sold to Atlantic BioHeat in PEI) and a containerized heating plant for the Yellowknife Airport.
Fink Machine has connected 11 clients over a 1.5-kilometre supply line, supplying space heating as well as domestic and process hot water demands using proven biomass heating technology.
Wood biomass heat is not only is a renewable carbon neutral energy solution, it also provides a cost effective and profitable alternative to fossil fuels. In 13 years, Fink Machine has completed more than 70 commercial/industrial installations across North America.
