Fit City Athletica owner Chantelle Hopkins has seen the difference the fitness centre’s Body Transformation Challenge can make.
The three-month program includes a three-month gym membership, a personal training session with trainer Tim Johnson including an equipment familiarity session, workout plans and meal plans.
“It’s 90 days, you do a fitness test to start, and take before pictures on the same date,” Hopkins explained.
“For a good amount that commit to changing their lifestyle for the whole 90 days there’s potential to have drastic, life-changing results as past members have.”
Hopkins, who took over the business in 2014 alongside her husband, Justin, is a fitness lover herself and was at one point the manager of Fit City Athletica and has witnessed the Body Transformation Challenge’s results first hand over the years.
Once all participants complete the Body Transformation Challenge, winners will be selected in a variety of categories including: overall grand prize winner, fit test winner for both men and women and a winner for physical change for both men and women.
Fit City Athletica features a full-service gym that offers a diverse range of fitness equipment members can access 24 hours per day, seven days a week, to help members and participants in the program achieve their goals.
Hopkins said the fitness centre recently purchased brand new equipment, a new gym layout and new TVs.
Participants can register any time from now until the end of February. Swag bags will be awarded to the first 50 people who sign up and include goodies such as supplements, T-shirts, shaker cups, and will receive 15 per cent off supplements.
The challenge costs $225 to register and boasts a one year Fit City membership, a photo session with Laureen Carruthers and a gift basket for the grand prize, overall winner.
Winners of the fit test and physical change will each earn a three month gym membership and a gift basket.
For an extra $175, participants will gain access to six additional personal training sessions for the price of five where Johnson can help adjust workout regiments and dietary needs accordingly.
Hopkins added she’d like to thank the community for all its support in donating items for the various gift baskets.
