Five Mission businesses nominated for awards

Small Business BC opened nominations and voting for the 14th annual awards on Oct. 1.

Five local businesses have been nominated for Small Business BC Awards.

Small Business BC opened nominations and voting for the 14th annual awards on Oct. 1.

To date, five Mission companies have been nominated. The companies are:

  • Rabab Indian Restaurant – Premier’s People’s Choice Award;
  • Valley Acrylic Ltd. – Best Community Impact, Best Company and Best Employer Awards;
  • K’pure Naturals – Best Marketer and Premier’s People’s Choice Awards;
  • Blanket BC Society – Best Community Impact Award; and
  • Mission Arts Council – Best Community Impact Award.

The Small Business BC Awards are the largest small business awards competition in the province. They recognize the outstanding achievements of B.C.’s entrepreneurs.

“I am so proud to see that five Mission businesses have been nominated for this year’s Small Business BC Awards,” said Mission Chamber president David Sawatzky.

“These are very prestigious awards, provincial in scope. Way to go, Rabab, Valley Acrylic, K’pure Naturals, Blanket BC Society and Mission Arts Council, for demonstrating what business success in Mission really looks like.”
