Aaron Daur, Jennifer Plourde, Samantha Strueby, Joshua Visser, and 544 other B.C. CPA students successfully passed the multi-day national Common Final Examination.
The exam, written in September 2016, was administered by the Chartered Professional Accountants Western School of Business.
“We welcome them to the ranks of B.C.’s chartered professional accountants,” said Dave Hallinan, chair of Chartered Professional Accountants of B.C.
In order to become designated, students must complete rigorous course work, pass the exam, and fulfill relevant practical experience requirements.
The national exam ensures all Canadian chartered professional accountants meet the same high standards, which are recognized nationally and internationally. The school delivers chartered accountants professional education program to western Canada.
