Heritage rail update for Cloverdale Chamber members

A guest from the Fraser Valley Heritage Railway Society will talk about the new Interurban car barn in Cloverdale.

Electric Railway’s former Cloverdale Station. They hoped to begin pouring concrete today (Thursday) for the foundation of the new car barn. The big move is slated for the summer.

Local business leaders will learn more about future plans for the Interurban Railway and its return to Cloverdale at next month’s Cloverdale District Chamber of Commerce luncheon.

The guest speaker is Terry Lyster, who will give an update on the Fraser Valley Heritage Railway Society’s plans to move from Sullivan to Cloverdale.
