Emily Jacob of Chatters Vernon trimmed the competition for a trio of awards at the hairdressing company’s Makeover Challenge recently in Red Deer.
Jacob took home not only a regional award, but also earned both the Makeover Challenge Stylist of the Year and Stylist’s Choice Awards.
Jacob received the grand prize of airfare, three night’s accommodation, $500 cash plus a ticket to advanced education at the Redken Exchange in Toronto for the Stylist’s Choice. For the Makeover award, she collected a to Eastern Canada next month for a photo shoot and fashion styling with Canadian Hairdresser Magazine.
In 2014, Jacob’s work will be featured on the cover of magazine.
The sixth annual Chatters event brought together more than 600 hairstylists from across Canada as well as more than 260 makeover entries.
