Kelowna tool store hosts woodshow

KMS Tools Woodshow starts today through Saturday with free seminars every hour.

Is there anything better than the smell of fresh cedar in the fall?  Maybe the smell of fresh cedar that is being thoughtfully and beautifully crafted by a local artisan at the KMS Tools Woodshow on from today through Saturday at the store’s 158 Penno Rd. location.

This year’s show features many local artisans, and of course, free live seminars every hour, on the hour.  Learn how to carve, scroll saw, sharpen, and dovetail on any of the three days.

And naturally, it’s a great time to check out all the latest toys, see demos, and pick the minds of the tools sales reps.  Not to mention the prizes to be won, including a $7000 dream workshop.

Be sure to grab a smokie, and check out which local charity is filling the air with more mouth-watering smells by cooking up your lunch.

Help us help others help themselves through Tools for the World.  Your old tools have meant the difference between shelter and homelessness, or income and poverty, for many people around the world. So bring your good used tools down to KMS, and they’ll get into the hands of people who need them.  Let your old tools give new hope.
