Ladysmith Grand Christmas winners picked from almost 8,000 entries

Shopping local has its rewards and the winners for the Ladysmith Downtown Business Association’s Grand Christmas draw have been selected.

Shopping local has its rewards and the winners for the Ladysmith Downtown Business Association’s Grand Christmas draw have been selected from almost 8,000 entries.

The winners include Dianna Fisher ($500), Adina Furey ($300), Jenni Russell ($100) and Christina Zimmerman ($100).

“The amount of entries in the Grand Christmas was more than we’ve ever had before,” said LDBA president Paul Mycroft.

Entries were available to be filled out at store locations across Ladysmith.

“There were a lot of prizes and people like all of those,” said Mycroft, of the 11 gift certificates up for grabs.

The downtown was also packed for the recent Old Time Christmas and Late Night Shopping continues Friday.
