There are now seven 7-Eleven locations in Langley.

On Saturday, 7-Eleven celebrated the grand opening of its seventh store in Langley — at 19982 56 Ave. — with a ribbon cutting ceremony, cake cutting and a cheque for $711 to Gateway of Hope Homeless Shelter.

In Langley, 7-Eleven’s footprint has grown from two stores to seven in just eight months. Each of these stores will be the new concept store with Wi-Fi and seating, said 7-Eleven representatives.

The 24-hour convenience stores are known for their Slurpees and convenience of groceries, snacks and other supplies.
