Langley’s Township 7 Winery hosts annual grape stomp this weekend

Charity event heralds an early harvest with a feet-first experience for teams. Costumes encouraged.

An early harvest has stepped up an annual charity grape-stomping festival, prompting Township 7 to move its charity event ahead by about a month to this weekend.

On Sunday (Sept 27), Township 7 Vineyards and Winery hosts the feet-first experience at its south Langley winery, 21152 16 Avenue, from noon to 5 p.m.

Sample new wines on the patio, or in the barrel cellar tasting room. Bring a group of six friends – or just come by and cheer on a team.

There will be live music by Brad Hadley. Guests are invited to bring a picnic, or try out the food ruck wares of El Tijuas.

Costumes are encouraged, but are optional.

The cost is $21.75 per person. No charge for non-participants.

Proceeds are in support of Ronald McDonald House of B.C.
