A Peninsula entrepreneur has been lauded by a nation-wide business magazine for her specialized health and fitness program, launched in White Rock in 2011.
Sara Hodson, owner of Live Well Medical & Exercise Clinic, was named one of PROFIT magazine’s 2015 ‘Rising Stars’ in its annual Top Female Entrepreneur feature.
Hodson’s clinics – with locations in White Rock, South Surrey and Vancouver – offer exercise-based chronic disease management and prevention, and comprise a team of healthcare professionals providing nutrition counselling and health education.
Hodson is currently teaming up with John DeHart, co-founder of Nurse Next Door, in the hopes of launching franchise locations of her business elsewhere across Canada.
