The Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce is mid-launch with three remaining business development workshops featuring community leaders and successful entrepreneurs.
The Lunch & Launch series continues with its workshops each Wednesday for the month of June from noon to 1 p.m. at the Courtenay & District Museum located at 207 Fourth St. Discounted member tickets are $20 per workshop. Non-chamber member pricing is $30/workshop.
After five successful workshops ranging from strategic planning for small business to social media, and from non-profits to women in business, participants are finding great value in the content of each workshop.
On June 8, join Donna Cloutier and Summer Matthews, partners and Chartered Professional Accountants from Cloutier Matthews LLP, as they outline reasons why you may want to incorporate, as well as the costs and benefits of incorporating from a tax perspective.
On June 15, Justin White, business coach and a senior leader with the Anthony Robbins Company, and owner of Play ‘n Trade stores on Vancouver Island, shares time and life management skills in a workshop on how to make every day the best day ever.
Last in this valuable series is a workshop on how and why to sharpen your brand and online presence. This workshop will cover topics such as branding your business in 2016, why you need a logo, working with creatives, and getting the most out of your website. Melinda Tymm, owner of Verti Creative and Aaron Milan of Milan Web Development, will share their professional knowledge on June 22.
