Mandziuk earns EDAC honour

Glenn Mandziuk, CEO of the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA), earns prestigious EDAC honour.

A local tourism leader is the recipient of one of the country’s top awards in economic development.

At its annual convention in Peterborough, Ont., the Economic Development Association of Canada (EDAC) awarded its President’s Award to Glenn Mandziuk, CEO of the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA).

The award is given to individuals with a legacy of contributions to EDAC and to the advancement of economic development in Canada. Mandziuk has 18 years of experience in tourism marketing and community development, is a past president of EDABC, was on the EDAC board, and has chaired nine other provincial or regional economic development organizations.
