Three-year-old Ryder gets his face painted - like his favourite superhero, Batman - by Magna Goerke of Catz Faces and Body Art. It was all part of the fun at the 100th birthday celebration at Save On Foods in Mission.
Large crowds came to Mission's Save On Foods to take part in a fun event celebrating the 100th year of Overwaitea.
There were balloons and popcond, face-painting, ice cream and even free cake.
Mission’s Save On Foods was packed with people taking part in a celebration of 100 years of Overwaitea.The first store opened a century ago in New Westminster. Twelve years later, in 1927, the first Mission store opened.
