Nature’s Fare inspired for health

Nature’s Fare and the InspireHealth Integrated Cancer Care Centre raise more than $12,000 through Live Inspired month.

Nature’s Fare and the InspireHealth Integrated Cancer Care Centre collaborated in October to celebrate Live Inspired month.

The month-long event raised awareness for integrative cancer care, as well as $12,800 for InspireHealth, a not-for-profit society serving patients and their families throughout B.C.

Integrative cancer care goes beyond medical cancer treatments and addresses the physical and emotional aspects of surviving cancer. Patients of InspireHealth have access to a team of physicians, nurse practitioners, nutritionists, clinical counsellors and exercise therapists.

In addition to the centre in Kelowna serving the Southern Interior, InspireHealth has centres in the Lower Mainland and on Vancouver Island. There is also a virtual centre serving rural and remote B.C. residents.

“Partnering with InspireHealth is not only rewarding, but it also makes a lot of sense,” said Alexa Monahan, marketing director for Natures’ Fare Markets.

“Like InspireHealth, our mandate at Nature’s Fare is to help our customers find the best version of their health, whether that be through buying organic, supporting local farmers, or tapping into the vast knowledge that our employees have to share.”
