New owners at Nakiska

Rita Ramu and Sabina Jules have sold Nakiska Ranch in Upper Clearwater to Lars Kolind and Aida Anderson

Peter, Rita and Sabina Ramu immigrated to Canada from Switzerland in 1992 and started building Nakiska the next year. Peter passed away in 1995. Over the past 17 years the ranch (Nakiska is a Cree word for 'where friends meet') has grown into a place to enjoy for guests from around the world. Rita, along with Sabina and her children Geraldine and Morgan, are moving to Kamloops. The new owners, who officially take over on May 1, are from Denmark.
