Tickets are still available for the Dwight International School’s Interact Club fundraising dinner tomorrow night (Feb. 26). The event, being held at the school at 2371 East Shawnigan Lake Rd., features a Korean theme and includes a silent auction. All proceeds from the dinner will be given to support Shanti Bhavan, a school for lower-caste children in India; and to Give a Flock, an organization that provides poultry for family farms in developing countries.Tickets are $20 each or $50 for a family of four. The Goldstream News Gazette is pleased to be sponsoring the inaugural Women in Hats – Tea at the Castle on Sunday, March 8 from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. This event is a fundraiser to support two vital violence prevention programs on the West Shore: the Royal Roads Students Against Violence project and Bridges for Women Westshore’s programs for survivors of violence and abuse.
