A week today and it will be March and that has many of us scratching our heads as to where the time goes.
February has been a wet month but rain is easier to move than snow so we are not complaining.
A few new businesses have opened up their doors on the West Shore and they are excited about meeting new customers.
Quality Foods has opened their second location in View Royal at the Eagle Creek Village location as have Subway, Cobs Bread, and Tim Hortons; this is certainly an exciting project that we are watching with anticipation.

West Bay Mechanical has opened a brand new showroom at 1740 Island Hwy. For more information on their exciting range of products stop by some time.
Borella Italian restaurant has opened in the former Chequered Flag location and the first reviews are in and the food is reported to be great. Petr Prusa, who also owns Floyd’s, owns the restaurant and is glad to be opening on the West Shore.
The City of Colwood will be hosting an open house on Feb. 25 from 4 to 7 p.m. on retaining walls and dust control.

The Westshore Arts Forum will be meeting on Feb. 28 from 1 until 4 p.m. at the Langford Legion, 761 Station Ave.

Darcy’s West Shore has added some great new appetizers to their menu, which are available all day and invite you to stop by and enjoy them for half price after 8 p.m.
Some the items you can choose from include Darcy’s bread, Darcy’s beer fries and pork lettuce wraps. They are a tasty treat on a night out.
