With the protective tarp removed, a worker readies the east end pillar of the Columbia River Skywalk for the impending arrival of the 100-foot towers. The first 100-foot steel tower for the west side is expected to arrive next week from the Winnipeg manufacturing facility. Cranes will be used to spot the towers on top of the pillars, which will then be fastened in place.
