Same-day caught fish from B.C.’s Pacific Ocean coastline

Boat to you fish including rockfish, grey cod and halibut on their way.

For this weekend the weather has relented a little so Codfather’s Seafood Market, at Guisachan Village on Gordon in Kelowna, will have lots of B.C. fish including rockfish and grey cod.

The highlight of the weekend will be our first shipment of the season of Tofino  day boat halibut, arriving Saturday, March 22, along with heads so they will be cutting some cheeks as well. Prices will ease slightly by Saturday.

“Tomorrow we are receiving our first shipment of Sri Lanka hand line caught exotics, including fresh spotted grouper, parrot fish and Barramundi fillets. Also available, pole-caught bigeye tuna, and mahi mahi,” said store owner Jon Crofts.

“Exciting news for this summer is that we have set up a same-day airfreight service from the coast, so most of our fisherman-direct fish can be received same day.”

Watch for the fish store’s Flying Fresh Program for just caught quality.
