Workshop aimed at helping mothers discuss issues with girls

The Children’s Health and Wholeness Centre will host a workshop focused on the sexual well-being of girls and women April 27.

Hosted by Karina Cebuliak, director of the centre, Support Our Daughters’ Sexual Well-being: A Workshop for Mothers will feature White Rock’s Kelly Monjazeb, a sexual-wellness coach for woman, who will discuss topics ranging from puberty, self-esteem and how to be an approachable parent.

The workshop will run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the centre, 13364 57 Ave. Cost is $37 per person.
