Contrary to many businesses in the Comox Valley Shine-Eze Window Care has come to the tough decision of either expanding or turning business away.
Owner Dwayne Robertson established Shine-Eze in 1998, building his business on the ethics of offering quality workmanship and customer service. Over 14 years it has grown to a commercial and residential customer base of more than 3,000 regular customers.
Robertson’s business began with offering only window cleaning to residential and small commercial businesses and has since expanded to include new construction window cleaning, gutter cleaning and vinyl siding cleaning. With training in the use of everything from a six-inch squeegee to an 85-foot boom lift, his clientele extends from mom and pop businesses to St. Joseph’s Hospital to CFB Comox.
While Shine-Eze is open year-round, crunch time is the spring when the need arises to rid the winter haze on windows. Normally by this time of year Robertson is booking three months in advance. This year, however, seems extraordinary. He is booked from mid-March until the beginning of July. Many customers have learned the hard way if spring cleaning isn’t booked in the fall, it becomes a summer cleaning.
To deal with the overflow of business Robertson has begun the process of hiring extra staff and contemplating starting a third truck and crew. For more information email Robertson at shine-eze@shaw.ca.
