Silver Star Mountain Resort is getting in on the Wild West Powder Quest through the Powder Alliance.
The contest is a visit-based sweepstakes designed to get skiers and snowboarders exploring their world and discovering the best powder stashes in western North America.
Any participant who visits a Powder Alliance resort before April 30, and tracks it with the Ski Nation app (available on iPhone and Android devices) will receive an entry into the sweepstakes.
A total of 13 winners will receive a two-day, two-night lift and lodging package to the Powder Alliance resort of their choice next winter season (excluding holiday periods). The more resorts a participant visits, the better their chances of winning.
To register, visit www.powderalliance.com/wildwestpowderquest, then download the Ski Nation app and create a matching profile.
Other participating Powder Alliance resorts include: Angel Fire, N.M.; Arizona Snowbowl; Bridger Bowl, Mont.; China Peak, Calif.; Crested Butte, Colo.; Mountain High, Calif.; Mt. Hood Ski Bowl, Ore.; Schweitzer, Idaho; Sierra At Tahoe, Calif.; Snowbasin, Utah; Stevens Pass, Wash.; and Timberline, Ore.
For every resort visited, the Ski Nation app will award a digital badge. Each badge counts as one entry into the Wild West sweepstakes. Winners will be chosen by random draw and announced on May 15.
