Mt. Timothy Ski Area is providing perfect spring skiing that has folks travelling to the Lac la Hache area from other areas of the province to take advantage of the north-facing slope conditions.

Recently, the overnight temperatures on the mountain have dipped slightly below zero, which helps maintain the mid-mountain base that is sitting at 120 centimetres.

Skiers and boarders have been blessed with sunshine and blue bird skies on machine groomed runs. Spring skiing is some of the best conditions to ride on, and the ski area doesn’t have a single patch of bare ground on any run, says ski hill manager Adam Piccolo.

Mt. Timothy is open today (Feb. 26) through the weekend. The chairlift runs from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the Terrain Park on Morning Side is open at 10 a.m.
