Stream hiring hundreds for Chilliwack service centre

Stream is actively seeking more applicants to fill the remaining 100-plus positions immediately.

Stream Global Services in Chilliwack announced it has now hired nearly 200 people since early August as part of an aggressive recruiting drive to fill 300 positions at its Chilliwack service center.

Stream, a global business process outsourcing provider and one of Chilliwack’s largest employers, is actively seeking more applicants to fill the remaining 100-plus positions immediately.

These positions are full-time roles with competitive pay and benefits, says a company press release.

Since establishing operations in Chilliwack in 2001, Stream provides multilingual customer and technical support as well as revenue generation services for a variety of high profile clients.

Stream is hosting a two-day employee appreciation celebration October 2-3 at the Stream facility on Evans Road in Chilliwack. On Tuesday, the company will host a day-long barbecue with a number of prizes from coffee tokens to Xbox 360 game systems to big screen TVs. In addition, local radio station The Hawk will broadcast live from Stream’s Chilliwack facility to help promote the current recruiting drive. On Wednesday, the company will celebrate with an all-employee pancake breakfast.
