Business on the agenda at Clinton 'Dinner and Discussion'

The Village of Clinton wants to talk business at a “Dinner and Discussion” slated for Nov. 21 at the Clinton Memorial Hall.

The event is organized by Council for the Village of Clinton.

In a press release Mayor James G. Rivett states, “The Village of Clinton believes that a strong business community with a united voice is a key ingredient to drive new investment and support existing businesses.”

There will be an alcohol-free reception at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m.

A number of guest speakers are scheduled to attend including John Winter, president & chief executive officer of the BC Chamber of Commerce, Marc Imus, regional director for Community Economic Development for the Province of BC and Jason Ryll, president of the Williams Lake Chamber of Commerce.

“The Village of Clinton is optimistic that a core group of business owners/managers in the community will step forward and begin the steps of re-establishing a Clinton & District Chamber of Commerce.”
