Tourism marketing manager Jessie Campbell is optimistic about the positive momentum that has been created in the city around tourism. “I can feel momentum building within the community to see the tourism industry become a leader among the top destinations in Western Canada.”

The Penticton and Wine Country Chamber of Commerce, which holds the fee-for-service contract with the City of Penticton to operate tourism, is confident that Penticton will continue to be a first-rate destination.

The last Penticton and Wine Country Chamber of Commerce Business After Business networking event until the fall was held recently poolside at the Ramada Inn Penticton next to their newly christened Blue Tail Grill. The large crowd enjoyed sunny evening weather, great music and food, refreshments and good conversation. Oh, and I heard rumours that there was added celebration of the new pool with a dunking. Congratulations Ramada on a successful renovation.
