Victoria grocery shopping with a twist

BOSA Properties together with Sustainable Produce Urban Delivery have created BosaFresh for residents of Promontory at Bayview Place

The romantic notion of never having to go grocery shopping again may soon be a reality – if you live in the right condo.

BOSA Properties together with Sustainable Produce Urban Delivery (SPUD.com) have created BosaFresh for residents of Promontory at Bayview Place.

Catered to condo-dwellers using grocery delivery services, BosaFresh is a designated temperature-controlled room to house grocery deliveries. A walk-in communal fridge that keeps your waiting food cold and fresh until you get home.

SPUD.com is an online retailer that delivers local, organic and natural groceries to your home, but the amenity is available for any grocery delivery service.

“BosaFresh will mean no more rushing home to ensure your milk, meat and fruit stays fresh,” said Peter Van Stolk, CEO of SPUD.com. “Cold storage will keep it well preserved until you’re ready to come home.”

BosaFresh is the first program of its kind in Canada and BOSA Properties is also launching the amenity at one of their Vancouver properties.

So you order your fresh, local, in-season produce on-line and have it delivered and kept in the cold grocery room in your building. Now you just need a service that puts your groceries away.
