The Burns Lake and District Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Centre has been closed since last Friday due to “unexpected maintenance,” according to chamber manager Jordanna Evans. “Because of the colder weather, we experienced some issues with our water freezing and some repairs will have to be done,” she explained. It was still unclear how long the repairs would take and when the visitor centre would reopen by press time.
