Walls up for Maple Ridge gaming centre

The new community gaming centre on Lougheed Highway is set to open in November this year

The 28,000 sq. foot entertainment and gaming centre on Lougheed Highway and 227th Street in Maple Ridge will open by the end of the year.

The centre will include 100 electronic slot machines which were added in the last few years to a remodelled Haney Bingo Plex on 224th Street. Ten per cent of the revenue from those machines go directly to the District of Maple Ridge, earning the district at least $300,000 yearly.

It’s being built by the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation.
