Is that March rolling in like a big fluffy lamb or just another cloud bank hovering over our heads? Either way spring is just a few weeks away and that brings a smile to my face.
Discovering new artists also make me happy and we have some exciting ones to tell you about. ‘My Studio’, a new artist group, has sprung to life in Studio 112 with a mix of mediums and artists and is developing quite a buzz. Across the hall in Studio 113, Sarah Parsons has Joined Angela Bonten and Trina Ganson adding more whimsy and fun to the walls. Come in and check them out.
In fact, come on down with the young people in your life and set them free in our new Arts After School programs running Tuesday to Thursday afternoons. Family pricing makes these sessions super affordable and of course you can get a tax credit for enrolling your children in arts programming, just like you do for sports. Don’t forget the RCA is run by a non-profit society that can write tax receipts for your generous donations that help us stock those youth arts classes with fun supplies and keep those programs running.
While you’re here, check out the many rooms that we have available for rental. From Board Room style to creative studios, or open concept team building spaces, the RCA team can work with you to cater and house any type of event. If you want a party space, a theatre, or film/lecture style we can help you host the perfect event and cater it for you too.
Enjoy your spring at the Rotary Centre for the Arts. Everyone plays here!
